PROGRAMME OFFERED WITH ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
(a) Bachelor of Urban & nRegional Planning (BURP) in: Urban & Regional Planning
Admission Requirements: 5 passes at credit level in English, Mathematics, Geography and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Ecoomics, Government, Fine Art, History, Christian Religious Knowledge, Social Studies and Technical Drawing.
b) Postgraduate Diploma PGD in: Environmental Management
Admission Requirements: First degree with a minimum of 3rd class in Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Economics, Sociology, Land Surveying, Estate Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building and Science Education. Others are Science disciplines, Agriculture and Industrial Arts/Designs. Holders of HND with a minimum of lower credit pass or equivalent in the above and related areas are also eligible.
f) Master’s degree MURP in Urban & Regional Planning.
Admission Requirements: First degree with minimum CGPA of 2 – 5 on a 5 point scale and 2.50 on a 4 point scale in Urban & Regional Planning and related discipline such as Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Surveying and other related environmental Sciences.
g) Master’s degree M.Sc in: Environmental Management
Admission Requirements: Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management of the University of Uyo, Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management, Environmental Education and Environmental Health of other Universities; a first degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 and 2.50 on a 5 point and 4 point scales respectively. This must be in same disciplines as above and related disciplines recognized by the Senate of the University of Uyo.
h) Doctorate Degree Ph.D in: Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning.
Admission Requirements: Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning and related disciplines with a minimum average of 60.
