What is the STEP-B Project?
The STEP–B Project is a Nigerian Project on Science and Technology Education at the Post- Basic Level (STEP-B).
What is the objective of the STEP-B Project?
The objective of the STEP-B Project is to achieve two goals that relate to education and research in Nigeria:
- For Nigerian education and research institutions and their partners to produce more and better qualified science and technology graduates at the post-basic level.
- and for these same institutions to produce higher quality and more relevant research.
The projects are:
- Towards generic text to speech technology: applications for African Tone Languages, The Team Leader for this Project is Professor Enoabasi Urua, Director International Relations.
- Development of Integrated Cassva Processing System(s). The Team Leader is Professor Aniedi Ette, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration).
- Developing a consortium of Akwa Ibom Research in Science and Technology (AK-RIST) of local research output in science and technology from Higher Institutions in Akwa Ibom State. The Team Leader for this project is Professor (Mrs) Felicia Etim, The University of Uyo Librarian.
