The Step-B Project University of Uyo “Text –to-Speech” conversion with application to African Tone Languages held an International Workshop at NUC Complex, Abuja from March 22^nd to April 2^nd 2010.  Keynote address at opening ceremony was delivered by Prof. Dr. Daffyd Gibbon.  The Workshop was opened by the Vice-Chancellor, University of Uyo, Prof. Akaneren I. Essien.
