1. DEGREE OF MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc) PROGRAMME IN PHARMACEUTICAL AND MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY

Admission Requirements:

1. An applicant for admission to this programme shall be a graduate of this university or any other approved University, holding the B. Pharm degree or a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Biochemistry  or Clinical chemistry (not below second class).
2. Applicants should have obtained a credit pass in English language and Mathematics at ‘O’ level.

      Applicants may be required to satisfy the department in a selection process

2. DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (PhD) PROGRAMME (PHARMACEUTICAL AND MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY)

The PhD degree programme is entirely by research and seminar for holders of the master’s degree in Pharmaceutical and medicinal Chemistry.
Admission Requirements:

Admission is open to candidates who already possess the degree of Master of Science or equivalent in Pharmaceutical and medicinal Chemistry from this university or any other approved University.  PhD candidates with degrees other than a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry will be required to complete post-graduate and some under-graduate courses in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry with acceptable grades at appropriate levels before they can proceed to the PhD programme.
