1. Part 11 Laboratory Medicine leading to Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh)

Admission Requirements: As in the general admission requirement into MBBCh programme of the University

1. Master degree: M. Sc. in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology

Admission Requirements:

1. Graduates with a second class Lower (Hons.) degree (having at least CGPA of 2.75 on a 5-point scale) in Microbiology of the University of Uyo or other institutions recognized by the Senate;
2. AMLSCN and Postgraduate Diploma in Microbiology (PGDM) of the University of Uyo or other institutions recognized by the Senate;
3. Fellows Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (FMLSCN) in two related disciplines i.e. Microbiology and Parasitology or Microbiology and Virology or Parasitology and Virology;
4. Candidates who hold other qualifications considered by the Department/Faculty Graduate Committees and Senate to be acceptable and equivalent to the above; and
5. Candidates with MBBCh/MBBS or equivalent.
