PROGRAMMES OFFERED WITH ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
1. Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Services (Full Time)
Admission Requirement:
Candidates seeking admission for Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Services
must possess a maximum of SSCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings with four (4) credit passes in English Language and Chemistry, and two others in any of the following: Biology. Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textile, Home Management, Agricultural Sciences, Health Science and Economics. In addition, candidates are expected to have at least a pass in Mathematics or Physics.
Bachelor of Science B.Sc. in Home Economics – Full Time
Admission Requirement:
Admission into B.Sc. Home Economics Programme is through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Candidates are required to have at least five (5) credit passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and English Language including any area of Home Economics or Agric and a P7 in Physics.
Masters Degree M.Sc. in Home Economics – Full Time
Admission Requirement:
Candidates seeking admission into the Master of Science Degree Programme in Home Economics must have any of the following qualifications from recognized institutions:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics or related discipline with a minimum of second class lower.
- HND Upper Credit plus PGD at distinction level, in addition to satisfying university matriculation requirements.
- No candidate who has not met the admission requirement for undergraduate programmes shall be eligible for admission.
