COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES
The College of Health Sciences is made up of the Faculty of the Basic Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Clinical Sciences. In future the following Faculties will be established as part of the College of Health Sciences: Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences.
HEALTH SERVICES
The University Health Centre provides health services to students, staff and staff family members. It is open to the public. Routine services provided include consultation, medical certification, ante- natal care, family planning, general surgery, medical and laboratory services, out-patient and in- patient care, environmental and preventive health services.
The Health Centre is one of the Health Institutions in Nigeria Registered for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS)
