PROGRAMME OFFERED WITH ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
- (a) PRE-DEGREE:
Admission Requirements: Five credits passes, three of which must be in the sciences in addition to credits in Mathematics & English.
( b) Bachelor of Agriculture in Crop Science
Admission Requirements: shall be the same as stated by the University of Uyo and those of JAMB. To be admitted into the 5 year Bachelor of Agriculture degree programme, the candidate must possess NECO or WASC/GCE with at least 5 O’level credit passes to include Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Sciences, Mathematics, English Language and any one of Economics, Geography or Physics. Candidates must pass University Matriculation Examination (UME) and have the required aggregate score in the UME subjects.
(c) Master’s degree M. A., M.Sc., in Crop Science
Admission Requirements: B.Sc. Agriculture with CGPA of 3.00 from
recognized university
(d) Doctorate Degree Ph.D in: Crop Production with specialization in
Crop production, Crop Physiology, Genetic and Crop Breeding,
Entomology, Weed Science, Pathology, Agro-climatology, Horticulture, Farming Systems, Nematology, Pasture-agronomy.
