(a)     A unit of the faculty of pharmacy offering a professional Bachelor of           Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree.
(b)     Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Pharmacognosy & Natural Medicine

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS : An applicant for M.Sc. degree Pharmacognosy & Natural Medicine shall be:

1. A graduate of the University of Uyo
2. A graduate of any other approved University with a degree in

Pharmacy, Chemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry,  Agriculture, Medicine or other related fields and shall normally, possess not lower than Second Class Lower Division Honours Degree. Candidates where degrees are not classified may be considered under certain conditions as stipulated by the University regulations.  Graduate students without Pharmacy background may be required to take relevant remedial courses as well as sit and pass examinations in the courses as may be directed by the Board of Post-graduate School on the recommendation of the Faculty Committee to make up for their deficiencies.
